5.3 to 6.2 swap
Hello, I just got a 2004 Silverado 5.3 regular cab z71 4x4.
Can Anyone tell me the best way of doing the engine swap? What would be the year of the 6.2 that would work? Will my tranny and transfer case work? Do I get a crate 6.2 or do i look for wreaked trucks and buy the whole truck(in an auction) or a salvage yard not knowing if it was running good. I understand that salvage yards most give you like 1-3 months warranty but if somthing happens I need to pay extra for the shop to get it out.
I just want a good product thats going to work Great!
My wallet is Pretty Fat.
