Hi just undergoing a rather large project of making my v6 96 reg cab long box into a short box and bought a whole parts truck (1998 ext cab short box) anyways main question for this thread iss....

the parts truck runs but has 23xxxx km on it and sounds like there is some piston slapping going on so i'd like to rebuild it but what would be some worth while and $$ " goodies" to put in there. just need some of the basics that guys do to these vortec engines
