Default 92 1500 W/T

Thinking of buying the truck mentioned above. But the owner said the ABS warning light comes on at 45mph or so, and stays on. Also the rear brakes can potentially lock up due to this. I was told it was an easy fix with a $40 part. Anyone else have any experience with this?

I'm thinking the whole rear brake system needs to be replaced likely, and would probably cost a hell of alot.

Kind of my view. The truck looked great in the pics, new paint job and all. But IMO if it was a $40 part I dunno why he wouldn't have done it himself by now, lol. I scanned other posts and found a few people with similar problems on this site and a few others. No definate answer though it seems. Past paying to have a dealership check into it.

Originally $5400 (Canadian), then slowly dropped his price it seems from seeing various ads on the net. I came across the ad in the last week, and asked him what he hoped to get, he figured in the ballpark of $3200. Has 150,000 miles on a v6 vortec, butthe transmission(standard)was donewithin the last year or so.

I think the price is actually reasonable, just more worried about the shop cost on the fix is all. Without having the truck here to figure it out better, I really dunno.
