my 92 chevy silverado 4x4 is like well i dont think my block is busted but my oil preassure gauge is not moving very far off of 0 and when u hit the gas it goes down or it moves up just a lil and i cant find out what the prob is but im thinkin it could be the gauge itself but im no machanic and im scared to drive it cuz the last guy who had it told me he just blew the motor last year and the oil preasure droped and it started knockin so it is kinda like that but no knocking yet and i sure as hell aint got the money to buy a new 350 so any help on this subject would be great

 

Remove oil pan, replace oil pump; piece of cake. Did it on my 94, took under 2hrs ad cost $65.

It may be just a gauge problem. Install another external test gauge just for testing purposes and if that known good gauge shows the same problem it would indicate that you may have an internal problem.
