'94 Chevy Silverado A/C Question
The air conditioning system on my 1994 Chevy Silverado 5.7L V-8 with 135K miles was completely redone less than two years ago. It works fine and blows cold air but in the last couple of weeks I've noticed that it hardly blows any air at all while in the "low" setting. It works fine on the other settings (low/medium, medium/high, and high). I can hear the compressor running but it doesn't blow any air on the "low" setting, even when on the max (rec) setting. Does anyone know why this is so or what I can do to remedy this? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

RE: '94 Chevy Silverado A/C Question
You can rule out the compressor and everything else under the hood. Sounds like the fan motor could be getting weak, and the low voltage of the low speed settingis not enough to turn it anymore. As another member said, it is also possible that the low switch setting could be bad or worn (not making good contact). You can eliminate the switch by jumping the various contacts and see if it works better.
