i have a friends dad who has a 95 c1500 ext. cab with the 5.7 and 104000 miles on it. he has had it since new. him and his family have recently have got into 4wheel drive jeeps and wants to trade me the truck for my 98 grand cherokee. my jeep has 140000 miles and is loaded. i need a truck and i know that truck has been taken care of and babied. i was wondering if this was a good trade or if i needed to look for another truck. thanks

 

Your friends family may be good people, but, there may be hidden issues with theie truck, as well as yours. Because dealing with friends and family can often stifle relationships i would recommend getting both checked for mechanical problems so both parties are fully aware of all possible issues that may arise.
As far as a good deal, you need a truck and they want a jeep. Sure beats haggling at a dealership.
