95 gmc 2500 clutch problems please help
ok im working on a 95 gmc 2500 2 wheel drive i just changed the clutch out and when i first pushed the clutch pedal down it was really hard i pushed alittle bit harder and it went to the floor cause it blew a line so i replaced the line made sure the slave cylender was in correct position and replaced that master tried to bleed it for a long time and nothing now he clutch pedal is way to soft to push it does come up by itself but the clutch wont engage i dont know what else to try any help would be great thanks
These cannot be bled like brakes...the best way is to remove the slave cylinder, make sure the reservoir is full and S-L-O-W-L-Y press the rod in. Basically, you are reverse bleeding the system.
Do this 3-5 times to be sure all the air is out, reinstall and check again.
I am guessing it was installed incorrectly the first time and that is why the line blew?
These come pre-bled as an assembly
