My tac and speedo are not working no light letting me know what gear i am in and it is revving higher more then it is driving it shifts manually ok but it d or 3 it is like starts slow and then picks up, tranny fluid is ok and nothing is burning and it just happend like that no warning or anything no check engine lights or stuff like that I have a 1995 chevy silverado 4x4 z71

 

so nothing in the gauge cluster is working? or just the trans light, the speedo and tach?

 

i also have a 95 z71 and the same problem. i have looked up the fuse block (#20) but the fuse is still good and have even replaced the fuse for kicks and still have the same problem. the tac, speedo and check guages light and the gear slect light are not working. the trans seems to be in second gear all the time. if ither of you have any ideas please let me know.

He does pop up from time to time, but it is rare.
