I am changing the tranny filter on my pickup but can't get the filter gasket out of the aluminum housing it's in. I'm afraid I'll tear up the housing. The new gasket says you may need to drive it in. If you gotta drive something in, how in the world do you pull out the old?

 

I have gotten away with not changing the gasket.....just snap the new filter in place and go with it
