97 sierra shudder

I recently replaced rod bearings and crank in my 350 vortec and i got the engine back in and it runs like a champ but at low rpms goin down the road between 45 and 60 every once in a while there is a shudder when my foot is very lightly in the gas pedal

im not certain i hooked it up th the diagnostics and it said my cam sensor on the back of the distributor was bad could that be the problem? when i got it all put back together i had a little trouble getting the distributor back in time and i got it to where it would run smoothe and it didnt do it until a couple days into driving it i know everythings not perfect by any stretch of the means im an 18 year old kid

have you checked the timing or the cam sensor?

RE: 97 sierra shudder

I had something similar on my truck it was a high frequency shudder, same scenario. A month or so later my drive shaft hanger bearing blew. Unless your sure its something in the engine, I'd get it up on stands and check the drive shaft.
