just wondering if my fuel pump is going, i can hear it on and i have pressure up to 58psi. In the morning i have to turn the ignition on 3 times to get fuel to the engine, i think it drains back. any one have any ideas.

Is that 58 psi with first key on? Does is stay at 58 or drop off?

You will get more responses if you start your own thread so I have moved it.

i don't crank the engine, but i turn the ignition till i hear the fuel pump turn on and then i turn it off , then i do it again about 3-4 times, then crank it and it starts, if i don't it would be just cranking it 4-5 times to get it started. i checked the pressure and it holds a couple of hours if it sits to long(afternoon) i have to do it all over again.

Mine does the same thing ... I just attributed it to the facts that: 1) my truck is ancient (1989), 2), the fuel pump in mine has a "self bleed off" that, from what I understand is supposed to do this, and 3) my truck only needs roughly 13 psi anyways, so no use in even trying to keep that little fuel pressure pressurized.

Sounds like the pump is bleeding down. Unfortunately you need a new pump to resolve it.
