Default 99-06 Radiator support WELD or BOLT??

Hello,

I need to change out my radiator support. The previous owner mashed it in, and pulled it out with a chain. I'd like to install a new one!

So, does anyone know if the Radiator support is Welded in or Bolted in??

Your rad support is BOLTED to your frame horns. Similar to the way your cab is bolted to the frame.
All of the rest of your front sheet metal is supported by your rad support.
Your rad support is the back bone to your front clip.

Thank you!

I thought it was bolted, however the 91 Accord I just bought has a slightly twisted radiator support. Issue is, it IS welded. For that one I need to have it done at a shop to insure alignment.

This being my very first truck (couldn't afford one previously). I wasn't sure about such things.

It looks like both my fenders have mildly bent tabs on the leading edge, judging by the mild warping seen on the outside. I THINK those could simply be straightened up TO a new support. However it'll never look right without the new support.

The hood wasn't actually damaged in the last owners accident/s. Issue was he couldn't get it to latch,.. So he intentionally bent the hood to get it to close.

Again,.. Thank you for the answer. I can do bolted myself!
