I inhereted a 99 silverado base truck. My wife complains that the passenger seat doesn't recline. According to the manual, there is supposed to be a handle to allow it to recline, but this truck never had it. The seats are the 40/20/40 style - all manual. I'd rather not go through the replacement of the seats. Can I steal the parts from one that reclines and with a little work make the passenger seat recline? IF so, what do I need to get?

Another short coming is that the back of the (20) center seat won't fold down so I can use it as an arm rest. Is this something I can fix also by using some parts from another truck?

If these ideas aren't good, what years will be a direct bolt up for my '99?
