Before I purchase the C-10 are there things I should look for, like rust prone areas, or any kind of known motor issues. About how much do older trucks like this run since KBB, NADA will not go back this far. Thanks for the help!

Its 2wd, 305 with 160,000 but the body is very clean and its something I will keep for a long time.

 

looks like a pretty good truck exterior wise at least. rust areas are rear wheel wells and cab corners. common 305 problems are in the valve train. check for smoke.

Make sure also to check the floor boards they tend to rust out under the floor mat. I cannot see the pics from my end, but if the other guys say it good, trust them. If you don't mind what are you gettin it for?

 

ive got basically the same thing except mine is a bastard 87 r-10. i got mine a few years ago for $3500. mine is same motor, same miles. TH 400 tranny but idk what you're looking at. theres no rust on mine but the exhuast wasnt looking to good. depending on where the truck is from the floorboards might be an issue. my motor had slightlywarped heads and a bad oil pressure sensor, and the ac compressor was toast.
