My driver's side heated exterior side mirror is not working. I would like to get behind the mirror to see if I can get a voltage/power reading coming off the heated mirror/rear-window circuit. I just can't figure out how to get behind the mirror. It looks like the front cover comes off, but before I start digging into it, I want to make sure.

Any suggestions would be apprecitated. Thanks!

 

I think its just a cover that pops off

 

Open your door and pop off the cover in front of the window and unbolt the mirror. Then just dis-assemble it...

 

Yes the pannel inside does pop off revealing 3 screws holding the mirror. It should only have one body tab near the top and a small tounge lip at the bottom.
