Advice on painting silverado fender flares?
I have a 2010 silverado that has hidious fiberglass fender flares on it. I intend to replace them with the factory GM Black ones but I want to paint them to match my truck. Is it possible to get a smooth finish on the factory flares? they seem to have a bit of texture to them. I was thinking maybe of using an adhesion promoter followed by some high build 2k primer and then BC/CC. Does this sound like it is a formula for good results?
