Default Air conditioning problem

I have a 2003 Silverado that has good cold air blowing from the vents by the windshield, but there is no air exiting from the vents on the dashboard toward the driver and passenger(s). Any suggestions for repair would be appreciated...Not sure if it's a simple switch issue or something serious, but either way if you can help please respond....

I have the same problem with my truck, but mine still blows out the upper vents. Basically mine blows where it should when blowing out the head and feet, but it also blows out the defroster too when it's not sapposed to. Let us know what to do. Thanks, gpet

sounds to me like the one of the " doors " is stuck open or closed or the doors motor went bad. inside of the dash there are doors that open or close depending on what possision you want the air flow to travel. you will probably have to repalce that motor or the whole unit.
