Default All Terrain Tires on A Chevy Silverado

Hey guys. I just recently bought a 2008 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. It does have the Z71 package. I am wanting to put some nice All Terrain tires on it. I don't typically do anything extreme. Camping, fishing, and a little off roading. I want to get a little larger tire that has an aggressive look to it. I would also like it to last awhile because the truck will be driven on the highway quite a bit too. I was thinking a 275/70/18. I am planning on keeping it the stock height for right now, but we all know how fast that can change! So what does everyone think, and thank you in advance for the responses

I run BFG AT/KO tires on my 04 Z71. But a number of friends run the Hankook Dynapro ATM brand with good luck.

How many miles are you expecting to get out of your tires?

I had a set of pro comp extreme all terrains, load range e side wall and at 25000 it was about half tread if not a little more. I drive my truck everywhere and through everything never had an issue. Even with winters in Ohio they took it like a champ. They will easily last 40 to 50 thousand miles.

Cooper AT3s all the way.

My Cooper ATRs are old as dirt and perform like magic.

I'm running NITTO Terra Grapplers 265 70R 17s E on my 2500 DMax this is my 3rd summer on them. My winter tires are BFG All Terrain / Mud This will be winter #2 for them.

I appreciate all the feedback guys. In2trux about how many miles are you expecting to get out of the terra grapplers. I have read a lot a lot of good things about those tires. The only negative thing I have ever heard was mileage. My last all terrain tire I had was the Falken Rocky Mount. They were good tires I didn't even get half wear out of them. They were on the truck I just traded in for my Chevy. Those tires come with a 50,000 mile warranty, but I would also like to try out other brands.
