I don't know if you have a particular brand in mind but I've bought tires for my Jeeps using discounttire.com they have free shipping and the prices are usually quite a bit lower than the tire places around here.

At the risk of getting flamed for mentioning retreads, you could always check out Treadwright.com, they have some great looking treads for cheap.
