There is a guy on ebay that is selling rebuilt clusters and the lighting looks great so I emailed him to see what he does. Well he wouldn't tell me but I assume he is using LEDs. I bought several different kinds to experiment but keep running into the socket problem. Since GM uses a combination of bulb/ socket I've had to use different makes of sockets but they quite don't fit right or they don't make contact on the printed circut. Has anyone done this and if so what did you use for the socket?? And LED for that matter.

 

he may have soldered them into place and also there is a company i cannot remember the name ill have to look thru my freee handouts from goodguys to see what but they make led digital guages and also led regular guages i will look later and let ya know
