Appropriate CAM shaft ?!?!?!?!!?!?!!???!?!?!
Hey Guys, My name is Brandon and this is my first post here on the forum. I have a 1986 Scottsdale 3/4 ton that I am rebuilding the motor and tranny on. My question is concerning the cam for the '69-'70 350 that I am going to put back in the truck. I have found some pretty good prices for engine kits @ www.northernautoparts.com which include pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, etc. but when it comes to the cam selection there are about 30 different options all varying in price. I do not know anything about the specs or how to select the appropriate cam for this application. I want this vehicle to be an everyday driver but I will also need to be able to pull my '18 ft gooseneck car hauler loaded with my '67 c10 that currently undergoing restoration. I want the engine to sound and run well but I also need the towing power. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys, Brandon
