i dont know...im having second thoughts about going all out with my stereo system. I can afford it but i feel like im being greedy and just begging to get robbed if i get all that expensive flashy flip-screen navigation dvd etc. in my truck. Seriously, unless you have kids why would you need a DVD player in your truck? i would probably never watch a movie with it since i have a dvd player in my comfortable apartment, lol. whats the best sounding single DIN (non dvd stereo) out there? Kenwood?....

No idea ...I'm worse w/ audio than I am with wrenching ...

But if I don't put a DVD player in my rig, you will see me on the news because my kids drove me crazy on a road trip. lol

When did Clarion get good? Wasn't that the brand that they sold at Radio Shack?

Really? They had this cool surround sound set up that people around here bought up. Everyone loved it. It was a hot seller. I dunno. Hands down with the Alpine cause I've owned Sony, Pioneer, Panasonic, JVC and now Im on my second Alpine (It still worked great after two years I just updated it). That is all I'll buy now. Best sound, power, options, and ease of use I think.

Maybe we can take a vote?
