Default Auto Reverse Cassette deck

Ok guys, I use one of those things that has a dummy cassette tape with a cord coming out of it to plug my ipod into my truck...

Lately the auto reverse deck has decided it wants to switch the tape back and forth every other second so it will not play right. I've tried blowing out the deck with those spray can things, and now I'm at a loss. What do I do???

I've been told that my dummy cassette adapter thingy isn't compatible with my deck, but it worked fine for the first couple of weeks

Oh yeah, and now I found out that my high pressure power steering hose is squirting fluid at a not-so-pleasant rate, so there is another $20 fix

Its magnetized. Get a cassette tape cleaner that will demagnitize it. After playing tapes on there for a while it will build up magnetism.

You will have to demagnitize it. It can be done by some cleaner, which are not expensive.

Find me a new head unit for under $50 and I'll consider it, until then, I just filled up my tank and it cost $94

I thought about something like that, but I want something that will fit into the same slot as what I have be it either radio or cassette. I am not a fan of the aftermarket drop down tacky stuff
