I have an 06 Crew Cab and it's my first truck. As it's my first, I 'm not yet used to backing it up. I'd like to put in some kind of backup assist system that is audible and doesn't include a camera. Can any readers make some recommendations. I guess I looking at the kid that has 4 sensors mounted on the rear bumper connected to a beeper in the cab.

Lol, I feel your pain. I went from a sports car to a full size truck and dinged a few bumpers here and there. They sell systems that beep when you get too close to objects while backing up and they are fairly cheap. The cameras can be costly. I had some $5 bumper guards on the rear bumper corners that I used to literally get a feel fro where it was when backing up. Redneck method.

 

I'll talk to my father in-law ...he bought one of the audible sensors for his F-150 ...

Camera's aren't that costly anymore ...I paid about $70 for mine at Costco.
