I have a 2003 Silverado with 6.6 Duramax engine. I have a battery light that stays on when the car is running and after it has stopped. It is a faint light and not as bright as it is when you put the ignition on before you start the car. The bright light stays on about 10-15 seconds after the car has been started and goes down to the faint ligth after that. This ligt stays on all the time even with the ignition of and the car is locked. Is there anyone that can help me with finding out what causes this????

sounds like a faulty cluster...check with your dealer,as they are fixing some for free

 

Ok one problem is that the car is in Norway and I dont know what they will fix over here but I will contact the main dealer over here and see what they say.

they should still fix it..gm is pretty global nowdays
