It'll do. I knew it was not a top-of-the-line product and most soft tonneaus are not absolutely water tight. We ran through a good bit of rain yesterday with a lot of stuff and nothing was damaged. I'll just make sure that I bag anything that I want to ensure is dry at my destination.

 

i dont think any soft tonneau is watertight... my dad has one on his avalanche and it leaks like a ****... and it came stock from gm!

 

My retractable leaks too. But mine is really old!
