I have a 1999 Silverado Z71 with 6.5 fleetside bed with normal michigan rust(newer body style) I came across a 96 stepside bed in great shape will it bolt right in or would it take a bunch of fabing?

 

it should fit, but it will look weird because of the body style differences.

 

It will look alrite but it's gonna take a little magivering to mount, but the lines are very close. If you can find a stepside from 1988 to 1998 it will bolt rite up
