I was lookin to get a body lift on my o2 silverado z71 . i was wondering how long it would take a shop and how much it cost?

Do it your self i did mine and it was not bad. When i was looking at shops to do it i think it was around $300 to $400 to have done. And i did mine in about 8 hours by my self most of it. So i would say a shop that does it all day it would take about 4 to 6 hours.

 

I've thought about doing a body lift but I've seen to many trucks that look like crap after a body lift. I decided I'm gonna do a leveling kit with ford keys, rear blocks, and new shocks. Then I'm gonna throw on some BFG AT 295s.

 

When I get my beater POS running I plan on working on the truck since it will be sitting in the garage. What special tools, or drunken friends are needed to help me do something like a suspension lift at home.

I know what #1 is......remove truck from garage!
