I want to add an electric brake controller to my 2000 2500 Silverado with tow package. Is there a wiring harness already under the dash or do I have to add one? I added a controller to my Nissan Armada and there was a factory harness in the truck.
If anyone could point me int he right direction I would appreciate it.

I had a 99 that USED to have a brake contoller in it. They took it out before selling it to me. Left all the wires too. (bastards) From what I can tell you have to run a wire all the way back to the rear end. I can't tell how it used to be connected but I am pretty sure there is no wiring harness for it under the dash.

 

its pre-wired to the rear..you need a factory jumper harness...the truck came with one new
