I'm just wondering what your guys opinion would be on what would be better for function and looks on a 08 chevy crew cab

 

well what are you goin to be useing the brush guard or grill guard for

i use mine to put my off road lights on it and also i would be useing it as a push bumper to help push my buddies when there stuck in the mud but our mud hole got closed down thanks to imature kids
anway if yoru going for fuctionality and usefullness i would suggest a heavy duty brush gaurd
or bull bar in my opinion there the same thing
but i guess there is a difference

 

Well I am going to mount lights to it, but i'm also going to use it for pushing broke down cars about the yard

 

then i would go with the heavy duty grill gaurd as they are ment to push and not break
but thats my opinion i have a grill guard on mine and it pushes just fine it was made by deezee hasnt broke or craked the only bad thing is the rubber on the thing came off one side

 

In your case I would go with the Bush Guard / Grill Guard for what your doing. Personally I like the look of the Bull Bar on the New Body style trucks
