If you are just talking about the mount from the body to the frame, they can be easy or difficult depending on how old the truck is and if the mount is rusted. If it is rusted, it is a real pain to free up. Otherwise it's not bad. I would soak it for several days with wd-40 or the like.

it's really weird I purchase the truck about 3 months ago it's a 1993 K1500 with a body lift. I got under the truck today and looked at all the mounts and I noticed the passenger side rear under the exteded cab is partly gone and there is no bolt holding it in. The spacer that is used for the body lift is almost falling out. My next issue is I can't find where to get just a single new mount. All of the others are good. Thank you for your help.

If it is just loose, then you can get a new bolt from Home Depot. Just get grade 8 or stronger. If thepuck need to be replaced, you can probably call one of the companies that sell them and order just one. You will have to call though since they usually sell them as a kit. By the way, is that truck a stepside, and Burgundy with grey bottom?

it's wierd the whole ting is missing the only thing keeping it there is the body lift block that's there but that's almost ready to fall out. I called around last night and the only place where I can get a new one is a dealer they are $17.00 so not bad at all. the truck is not a step side but it is burgundy in the lower part and gray on the top...how did you come so close to knowing that? Thank you for all of your help.

I had a 93' stepside with a body lift I traded in when I bought my truck. Thought maybe you had my last one.

The detergents in tranny fluid works well to loosen corroded threads also.
