can you swap a 2003 v6 silverado to a v8?

does anyone know if you can swap a 2003 silverado to a v8? what will i need? will it mount right up? has anyone done it before?

Block and mounts are the same. Will need the wiring harness for the V8. Post up on LS1truck.com...there's lots of guys that have done it over there.
