Can anyone give me advise on correcting a problem with the fuel system. I can not fill the tank, the nozzle will click off if I try allowing more than a trickle to flow. So...I pulled a nose (about 1/2" dia) off of the canister (EVAP I believe) that runs to a little round can (solenoid I think), with a plug having two wires in it. Now I can fill the tank, normally. But now I get a Check Engine Light, Fuel cap loose alarm. I can just start replacing parts, but I'd like to know what to test and how they (the EVAP System) works.
