Default car diagnostic tool change driver's driving habits

With oil price climbing, more and more people worry,
I think a lot of fuel-efficient ways, but no ideal.
Colleague told me, the biggest fuel economy is the driver's driving habits.
He recommended me to buy a .
With this tool can look fuel consumption at any time.
Both save money and environmental protection.

Has your colleage tried it? If so what was his results in saving, like how many more miles per gallon etc.

Run stock sized tires, use a good synthetic oil, and chip it out, and you will do just fine. I get 23 out of my 05 GMC Sierra with the 5.3
