I'm pretty sure your talking about the carrier bearing on the driveshaft but if I'm wrong just slap me. Never done one on one of those but typically, you simply unbolt the driveshaft at the rear, unbolt the center support bearing holder, slide the driveshaft out of the tranny, figure out how it comes apart in the middle(I think it just slides apart usually) and do those steps in reverse to install.

A write-up?! LOL! It couldn't be easier man. I've only ever heard of like one chevy truck ever causing someguys problems and that was because crap was rusted/ceased up in place.

I like all of the write up's. Even if it is a simple job there is always little tricks that help out that you only learn of by doing it. I will post something after I am done.

it sux..

you'll need a press, torch or something to push/cut the bearing off...and a driver or press to put the new one on

Really? Geez, my customers never complain about them except for the one I mentioned. I've never done one on a Chevy either. I did one on a Nissan pickup and it was a piece of cake but it slid right apart. Too bad these aren't that simple.
