Cherrybomb Turbo Installed
I just got my cherrybomb turbo muffler installed on my truck yesterday. It sounds awesome. I haven't heard it when it was sitting next to a flowmaster but so far, it sounds like I remember a flowmaster sounding but deeper. Of course, I got the single inlet/single outlet. It has a turndown right after the muffler and is dumped before the axle. I bought the muffler from jegs for 47 after shipping. I then took it to my local muffler shop. I watched them install it, bs'd with them for a while, then paid them 40 and went home. I haven't heard an $87 (installation included) exhaust sound as good. It was what I wanted.
As far as sound goes, you can hear it while you are inside the truck. I wouldn't really call it an interior resonance. There is no annoying drone at highway speed. If you were to go on a 1-10 scale where a straight pipe is a 10 and glass packs are an 8.5, then I guess the muffler is like a 6.5-7. A lot like a flowmaster sounds. By the way, does a flowmaster have a drone at highway speeds?

It has been a while since i've been on. Been busy with class, work, etc. I think my muffler might be in the middle of the flowmaster 40 and 50 series sound wise. Idk. I can't complain, it sounds better than the dynomax I had on my blazer.
