i bought a 2004 silverado and its shaking me up when i drive it does it mean that i have to put new shocks or the silverado s not a smooth truck?

 

Our 03 Sierra Z71 had to have both of the front shocks replaced under warranty, not sure if that helps or not

 

On my 02 2500 silverado it started shakeing at about a 100,000 miles. Over the next 10,000 miles it got worse. I had the front end checked and all was good. They rotated and balanced the tires. This eliminated most of the vibration. I was told that when I change tires next time to also change the shocks.
