94 z71 ext. cab with 4L60e. Bought the truck awhile back and has tranny problems. Its an automatic. ive replaced number 2 solenoid, replaced speed sensors, changed fluid and gotten out all impurities in the tranny fluid. The truck shifts in first, third, and fourth, but when your in first and its trying to go into second you have to push on the gas til about 2 and a half rpms then let off the gas and punch back on to get it to shift. The only other thing i could try is a full rebuild. If any one knows what it could be before i do the rebuild it would very much be appreciated. the rebuild kit will be purchased in two weeks if i cant get it figured out.

 

Might look into checking the TPS(throttle position sensor). When these go bad it will make the tranny shift weird.
