I would get it tuned. I had someone tune mine with hptuners and it made a huge difference. It was worth the extra money for sure.

Tuning is the best way to go. It can be done yourself with a tuner tool or can be done by another third party such as Black Bear.

I have a Diablosport Predator for my truck. There's others out there as well. The advantage I see with my tuning tool is that I can change the parameters myself or send my calibrations via email or the internet for custom tuning. It's easy even for a novice to learn and there's a lot of support and information on their forum to tune yourself.

The cheapest I found online is:

http://www.concoursdirect.com/diablo...-predator.html

I suggest buying it new. It comes with a warranty. Those used ones on eBay have risks and potential hidden costs, especially if the unit is locked to a VIN. And, there's no warranty.

I also suggest buying the interface kit as well. You'll need it to update the tuner at times, download tune files for custom tunes, and finally upload your custom tune as well.

Custom tuners can be found at the CMR dealers listed on the Diablos's website, or a guy who goes by 06MonteSS in the Predator GM forum. I hear he's pretty good. I think he charges $100 but you'll have to ask him.

I went w/ a custom tune. I can't comment on how well it performs yet as I just ordered it, but have read nothing but rave reviews on the guy/company. After talking to them, I ordered one. The company is Nelson Performance http://www.nelsonperformance.com/

I'll let you know how it is after it's installed. $311 shipped.
