i put a smoked led third brake light in a couple monthes ago and my truck didnt have one to begin with. think i paid 50 for it with shipping. ive gotten alot of compliments on it so far and installation was super easy.

It looks like it should be a decent light, if you like it id go for it.
I personally like the look of smoked rather than clear so Im just tinting mine so its not as noticable unless its on

If my truck were a darker color, Id definitely go with a smoked or tinted look but Id like it to blend in with the white paint until it is activated.
Anybody know how one installs? Ive never taken the 2 screws off before...

I am deff. a big fan of smoked light covers. I have smoked tailight and center brake light covers and I get compliments all the time. I think you would be more satisfied if you went that route. Im not sure if clear on white would look quite right...

well i got a led one that came with sockets and a led to socket conversion so it was pretty much just plug it in and screw the new one on. the leds are much brighter and show through the smoke screen very bright.
