Code P0446 HELP

New to forum. I have a PO446 code on my 99 Seirra. I was told that I may need to clean the charcol filter. I have no idea where to start looking for this thing or what it looks like. Any help would be great. Thanks

446 is for the evap vent valve,and yes the cannister..its all under the truck near the tank
