Seat tracks in 08 silveraldo

Can the seat track stops be removed or moved back? On a 2008 silverado. My dad is a big man he had enough room in his 05 but is to close to steering wheel in his new 08. needs belly room

not safely,no...its done,but the person doing it would be liable in a crash
