Default Correct me if im wrong

the truck im looking at has a bit of a steering problem.

at idle it is very difficult to turn but when i start rolling it becomes easy. I think its a air bubble in the system and i plan to get it out by turning my wheel side to side all the way with the cap off to get out the air bubble.

also after the ride it was leaking a bit which can be air forcing it out? or that they didnt tighten up the bolts right?

i already told them the pump is shot so they deducted the price of a pump from the price of the truck

How does the fluid look? You can try flushing it and putting new fluid for a relatively cheap fix. Does it make noise when the steering is hard?

no theres no noise its just hard. and i talked to my instructor at college and he said he said it was most likely the pump was bad because as soon as i was rolling momentum made it much easier to turn
