Crank no start issue
I recently joined this forum searching for help on getting a project truck to start. It’s a 2006 GMC Sierra that I just replaced the engine in. I swapped engines because the original 5.3l had a collapsed lifter. I had a spare 5.3 On the stand waiting to go into something is why I bought the truck. The 2006 started and ran fine minus the collapsed lifter. After swapping the engine the truck won’t start due to no spark, I have 56 psi of fuel pressure. I used all the sensors in the running engine when putting the engine together on the stand. The engine I put in was out of a 2001 but they swap over fine I’ve done it before. They have the same crank sensor and trigger 1999-06. Both engines are gen 3 with 24 tooth crank triggers. The crank sensor is working because I have the 10 volt signal on the blue/white wire coming from crank sensor. The pcm recognizes this signal and shows the truck is cranking over at 2xx rpm in HPTuners. There are no codes or check engine light and security light is not on. All grounds are hooked up aswell. What should be my next step?

What type of fuel injection system does it have?
You say no spark? This is obviously at the spark plugs?
Do you happen to have the ECM for the “new motor”?
While waiting for your answers I would suggest going back over all of your connections to make sure they are clean and tight. Make sure ALL grounds are connected to a clean surface & tight.
