Default Dex cool and intake gaskets

Am I the only one with this problem, the last two chevy trucks I have had I needed to replace the intake gaskets in. A buddy says it is the dex cool anitfreeze and that it is acidic and thats what causes the gaskets to go bad. Is it a problem with the gm antifreeze or the gaskets themselves?

You have the problem before or after a flush?

its not the coolant..its letting the coolant get low...air and dexcool cause a crusty-ness...

Explains why it is pressurized (well at least the overflow cap is air tight anyway)
