OK so I read that if my truck does not have the dic buttons on it I can buy them because the wires are all there. Is there any way of just bypassing the wires to make it work. I would like to program it once and leave it alone. $100 is kind of expensive to just use something once.

I would like to stop the doors from auto locking and see when my truck goes into V4 mode. That is it. There has to be a way to just short 2 connection in the harness to get it to work or is it more complicated than that. THNX

Oh ya I forgot to mention that I just bought this truck and it is a 08 chev silverado Z71 ext. with the 5.3L.
