diffrences on the '04 and '06 5.3l??

Default diffrences on the '04 and '06 5.3l??
what is the diffrence between these 2 years? i noticed that some performance parts would end for '04. i have an 06 5.3.

there have been many diffeerent variations of the 5.3 for a few years now,...each with a different vin designation.
most notably,the Z engine is flex fuel capable

so i could use 04 things on my truck?? the headers i was looking at say they are only up to 04

It just depense on the headers you have to check and see if all the hook ups are the same like egr and theres one other.
