looking to disable the door chime on my silverado 1500 pulled the fuse panel an no fuse for it,checked under the hood no fuse either? at a loss at finding this one guys any help or tips would helpful thanks -pat

 

I don't believe the door chime is a separate chime at all.
The dinging comes from the left front speaker from a signal from the BCM.
You may be able to disable it at the BCM. Check a wiring diagram for your specific year and see if one wire is marked for that purpose.

This would mean the audible alarm for anything else may be disabled too.....which may violate the safety inspection in your state.
