door lock

Default door lock

i have a 1995 Chevy Z71 and i being really intelligent locked my only set of keys in the truck. what is the easiest way of getting into my truck with out calling the lock smith or breaking anything.

on the older models like yours you can pry the door open with a crobar or something like that from the top, and then stick something down to hit the unlock button. I know this because it was done to my truck

my truck doesnt have power door locks tho, and id really like to stay away from anything that could chip or scratch any paint

Cause if you know anyone with AAA they will do a lock out for free

or you could use a wood shape wedge at the top of the door to get it open about a inch or so and stick a coat hanger in their and hook you keys or the door lock

is there any way possible that i can buy a plastic key for it and get a key place to make me a new one?...or is there an easier way, i really dont wanna wedge my door open

I dont really know if that would work, but on mine when i did it, it didnt mess anything up or chip any paint. maybe i was lucky but idk
