Hello Chevy World,

Looking to change the rake of my truck and was told that a 2" drop shackle kit would work great. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

What kind of truck? I have a 2004 GMC Sierra extended cab shortbed. I dropped mine with drop shackles. I took them back off with in 24 hours. Alot of people like the shackles though. It is easy to do it yourself too providing you have the right tools. I did not like the way my truck looked. Just my opinion though.

 

Great way to drop the back and not affect the ride. Some have a hole for 1 inch and another for 2 inch so you can get the look you want. I say go for it!!!

 

HEck yeah do it. I like the level look.
